Ice cream in a Baggie

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1/2 cup rock salt
  • 3 cups ice
  • 1 sandwich sized Ziploc bag
  • 1 gallon sized Ziploc bag
  • Add-ins(chocolate, chips, nuts,marshmallows,candy,etc.)

Instructions:

  1. measure and pour the milk, heavy cream, sugar, vanilla, and salt into the sandwich baggie.Mix any add-ins at this time.
  2. Seal bag completely and set aside
  3. Fill the inside of the gallon bag with ice and rock salt
  4. place the ice cream baggie into the gallon ziploc
  5. remove as much air as you can and seal completely
  6. wrap bag in towel and shake vigourusly for 10 minutes
  7. carefully open bag, remove inside baggie, and enjoy your ice cream!
